Emma started her role as case manager with the CARE Team in summer 2025. She graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Arts in English in 2017 and worked in administrative roles at WVU School of Medicine and Eberly College before pursuing graduate school. In 2025, she received her Master of Social Work from WVU.
