THE RACK: WVU STUDENT FOOD PANTRY

Providing food and essential items to help support WVU students.

What is The Rack?

The Rack is WVU's student food pantry. Through multiple locations across campus, students on the Morgantown Campus can access food and essential items in a welcoming and supportive environment.

How The Rack Works

Step 1: Complete Your PantrySoft Registration

The Rack Student Food Pantry is available to students enrolled on the Morgantown Campus.

Before using The Rack Student Food Pantry, complete your PantrySoft registration. Registration helps us verify your eligibility and connect you with additional resources if needed.

You do not need an appointment to use The Rack Student Food Pantry.

Step 2: Visit a Rack Location

After completing your registration, you can visit a Rack location during operating hours.

  • The Rack at Morgan House: One visit per day, every day, as needed.
  • Snack Rack: Student Recreation Center: One visit per day, every day, as needed.
  • Snack Rack at Statler, Davis, or the College of Applied Human Sciences (CAHS): One visit per day between these three locations.

Please check each location's hours before visiting.

Step 6: Access Assitional Resources

The WVU Basic Needs Center offers services beyond pantry access, including:

  • Basic needs consultations
  • Resource navigation and referrals
  • Cooking essentials pickups
  • Dietary restrictive foods pickups

Appointments are required for these services and can be scheduled through PantrySoft.

Before You Visit

Please bring a reusable bag when visiting The Rack. Disposable bags may not always be available.

Bringing your own bag helps ensure you can easily transport your items and supports our efforts to reduce waste.
